Leading sire Tapit enjoyed his amazing eleventh stakes winner from his first crop of runners when his 3-year-old filly Redreamit easily won the $65,000 Twin Lights S. on Sept. 7th at Monmouth.

Never tested in the stretch of the 1 1/8-mile grass stakes, Redreamit won by 2 ¾ lengths in 1:47.68 over a firm course. It marked her second win from five starts for trainer Ken McPeek and owner Carl Gessler, Jr. Bred by Winchell Thoroughbreds from the Relaunch mare Dreamsport, Redreamit has earned $76,216 to date.

Tapit’s epic first crop earned him Champion 2-year-old Sire honors a year ago, headed by Eclipse 2-Year-Old Filly winner Stardom Bound and fellow Grade 1 winner Laragh. That momentum has carried over into 2009 with the emergence of leading 3-year-olds Careless Jewel, Hightap, War Echo and Testa Matta, among others.
