The first 2-year-olds by the Grade 1-winning and record-setting juvenile Afleet Alex showed well at the April 2nd breeze show for the Keeneland April 2-year-olds in training sale to be held April 6th & 7th, with a pair of colts breezing an eighth in 10.1 seconds and another colt breezing a quarter in 21.2 seconds.

Hip Nos. 104 and 165 professionally worked 10.1 through the Keeneland stretch, while Hip No. 156 came off the far turn strongly and finished up well to stop the clock in 21.2 over the local Polytrack.

Afleet Alex himself was one of the best juveniles of his generation and an Eclipse finalist at two. He won his first four starts, including the Hopeful S. (G1) and Sanford S. (G2) in stakes-record time.
