A colt by Afleet Alex was the top-priced yearling at the Breeders’ Sales Company of Louisiana Annual Yearling Sale held on September 27…

Bred and consigned by Clear Creek Farm, the Louisiana-bred sold to Mary K. Grum for $120,000, highest price of the past five years for this sale.

Consigned as Hip 137 of 243 catalogued, the bay colt is out of multiple $100,000 juvenile stakes winner Swifty Victress, by Macho Uno. The second dam is a half-sister to four stakes horses, and the third and fourth dams are stakes mares and multiple stakes producers.

Champion and dual Classic winner Afleet Alex has progeny earnings in excess of $9,000,000 from his first three crops to race. He is the leading third crop sire of his generation by Graded stakes winners.
