First crop sire Afleet Alex was represented by one of the highest-priced colts in the opening session of Keeneland’s 2008 September Yearling Sale.

Hip #122, a bay colt out of dual stakes producer Arbela, was sold midway through the September 8 session to John Ferguson, for $725,000. The colt, who was consigned by Eaton Sales, Agent, is a half-brother to Canadian Champion Sprinter Apelia, and to the stakes-winning filly Camlan.
