Monday, April 19, 2010 |
Stakes-winning juvenile Bet Your Boots returned to his stakes-winning ways on April 18th with a daylight victory in the Baxter S. at Fonner Park. The 3-year-old son of Birdstone tracked the pace before making a four-wide move on the far turn, then edged clear over nine other sophomore runners in the six-furlong event.

A homebred racing for Richard Bremer and Cheryl Sprick, Bet Your Boots broke his maiden by 17 lengths at five furlongs, then won the Northern Lights Futurity and placed in the Prairie Gold Juvenile S. and Brian Barenscheer Juvenile S. at two. He has won or placed seven times in 11 starts, for earnings of $76,279 to date.
