A weanling filly by Birdstone netted a top bid of $300,000 during day 2 of the Keeneland November breeding stock sale. That figure is the highest price paid for an offspring of Birdstone in 2011.

Gainesway consigned the chestnut Kentucky bred filly, hip No. 424. She was purchased by Dell Ridge.

The weanling is out of Rhumb Line. She is the dam of the 3-year-old filly Zazu, a daughter of Gainesway stallion Tapit and winner of the Grade 1 Las Virgenes S. and Grade 2 Hollywood Oaks. Rhumb Line is also in foal to Gainesway stallion Tapit.
