Grade 1-winning juvenile Cuvee got his first 2-year-old stakes winner of the season when Majestic Vintage rallied to win the near-$90,000 TTA Sales Futurity S. on June 6th at Lone Star Park.

Trained by famous jockey-turned-trainer Cash Asmussen for his father Keith, Majestic Vintage won by three-quarters of a length in 58.23 seconds for five furlongs over a fast track.

The bay colt is out of the stakes-winning Lyphard mare Darling Dame and was bred by his owner and his owner’s other son – top trainer Steve Asmussen, who trained Cuvee during his illustrious racing career.

The win was Majestic Vintage’s second from four starts, including a pair of thirds, and it moved his earnings to $64,702.
