Led by Las Virgenes (G1) winner Zazu and Skip Away (G3) winner S. S. Stone, Gainesway Sales consignments produced 16 major stakes horses through the first 12 ½ weeks of 2011.

All of Gainesway’s current sales graduates were sold at Keeneland or Fasig-Tipton sales, with 14 selling as yearlings, and four selling as weanlings. Two of the stakes horses, Zazu and Jakesam, sold both as weanlings and yearlings.

S. Stone-G3 (KeeSep 07), Strike Impact (FTKOct 05), The Great Caper (KeeJan 09), Understatement-G3 (KeeSep 06), Wicked Deed (FTKJul 09), Zazu-G1 (FTKNov 08/KeeSep 09).

Last year, Gainesway was America’s third-leading yearling consignor by gross sales, and second-leading weanling consignor by gross sales.
