Gainesway Sales graduate J C's Pride blazed his way to a five furlong track record at Saratoga on July 27, covering the distance in :56.54 seconds, while breaking his maiden by 3 1/4-lengths.

The 2-year-old son of Henny Hughes was consigned to the 2010 Keeneland September yearling sale, where he sold for $90,000. The chestnut colt, now owned by Joseph Bucci, is 1-1-0 in two starts earning $42,000.

Bred in Kentucky by Extern Developments, J C's Pride is the first starter out of Hi Lili, who is a half-sister to multiple stakes winners Blind Date and Sales Tax.

Gainesway Sales consignments have already produced 32 stakes horses, 10 stakes winners, in 2011.
