Informed Decision, a 2006 Gainesway Sales yearling graduate, captured her tenth win – and seventh stakes win – from 13 career starts when she rallied to victory in the $250,000 Thoroughbred Club of America S. (G2) on Oct. 10th at Keeneland.

The classy gray filly lengthened her stride in the stretch to roll by Carlsbad late, winning the six-furlong race going away by three-parts of a length. The final time was 1:09.03 over the local Polytrack, earning the 4-year-old a 99 Beyer Speed Figure. It marked her seventh win in her last eight starts, which includes a pair of Grade 1 wins earlier this season.

Owned by Augustin Stable and trained by Jonathan Sheppard, Informed Decision has earned $1,231,617. She could make her next start in the $1 million Breeders’ Cup Filly & Mare Sprint next month at Santa Anita, where she would be one of the top contenders in the prestigious seven-furlong event.
