Reigning Eclipse Award Champion Hansen is expected to make his next start in the $400,000 Woody Stephens S. (G2) on Belmont Stakes Day, June 9th.

The widely popular light gray son of Tapit will face a top caliber field in the seven-furlong event over the famed Belmont oval, as Grade 1 performers Currency Swap, Drill, and Trinniberg are also targeting the race.

Owned by Dr. Kendall Hansen and Sky Chai Racing, Hansen has amassed a career record of four wins and two seconds in seven starts, including victories in the Breeders' Cup Juvenile (G1), Gotham S. (G3) and Kentucky Cup Juvenile S. He has earned $1,623,305 to date.

Two-time Champion Sire Tapit is North America's Leading Sire worldwide in 2012, with over $4,500,000 in progeny earnings. He is booked full at a fee of $125,000 live foal this season.
