Gainesway’s consignment to the 2008 Keeneland Yearling Sale again accounted for one of the highest prices of the session when its homebred MR. GREELEY—TEMPEST DANCER colt was sold for $1,000,000 on Tuesday, September 9.

Selling as Hip #323, the chestnut colt was purchased by Legends Racing, an investment group whose horses will be trained by Nick Zito, D. Wayne Lukas, and Bob Baffert.

Tempest Dancer, dam of the million-dollar colt, has produced G3 winner and sire Windrush, and she also is a stakes-winning full sister to Grade 1 winner Sardula.
