OBS March: Mr. Greeley colt fetches $260,000

Tuesday, March 16, 2010 |

A 2-year-old colt by Mr. Greeley topped the first half of day one of the OBS March Select sale on Mar. 16, bringing a hammer price of $260,000 from buyer Equix LLC, Agent. Cataloged as Hip No. 10, he worked a quarter mile in a snappy :21 3/5 seconds in the under-tack preview show. Click here to watch the video of the work.

The chestnut colt was consigned by Harris Training Center LLC, Agent. He is out of the stakes-placed mare Air Marshall, who herself is out of Grade 3 winner Sky Blue Pink.

Mr. Greeley, a leading international sire of 22 graded stakes winners to date, is represented in 2010 by the two-time stakes winner Queen Greeley.
