International sire Mr. Greeley received his 49th stakes winner on Jan. 25 when his 3-year-old filly Queen Greeley captured the $50,000 El Paso Times S. at Sunland Park.
The bay filly scored by 2 ¾ lengths in the 6 ½-furlong race, stopping the clock in 1:18.72 over a fast track. She is trained by Todd Fincher for owners Barbara and Chris Coleman, whom purchased the filly for $160,000 as a yearling from the consignment of Gainesway Sales at the 2008 Fasig-Tipton Kentucky Summer Yearling Sale.
Queen Greeley now boasts a record of 2-0-1 from three starts with earnings of $46,720. She was bred in Kentucky by Carliwood Farms LLC from the Broad Brush mare Broad Queen.
