International sire Mr. Greeley reached 50 stakes winners on Sunday, June 27th when his 3-year-old filly Greeley's Rocket scored a dominating 4 1/4-length victory in the $94,500 Crank It Up S. at Monmouth Park.

The filly was making her second start since adding blinkers, and she's gone untested since the equipment change. Last month, Greeley's Rocket romped to a 10 1/2-length victory in an allowance race at Presque Isle Downs over the Tapeta surface before notching her first stakes triumph in the Crank It Up going 5 1/2 furlongs on the turf. Over a firm turf course, Greeley's Rocket stalked the early pace before taking command and drawing well clear in the stretch, stopping the clock in 1:01.81 over a firm course. That makes two straight wins by a combined 14 3/4 lengths since the addition of blinkers.

Trained by Bret Calhoun, Greeley's Rocket improved her record to 4-3-0 from 10 starts with earnings of $181,591 for owner Richard L. Davis. She was bred in Kentucky by Gulf Coast Farms, LLC from the American Chance mare Clay's Rocket.
