Smoke Glacken has been selected by Bill Oppenhiem as one of just 22 “Good Value Sires” at stud in Kentucky.

Calling him a “useful and prolific sire,” Oppenheim especially cited Smoke Glacken’s excellence as a sire of precocious juveniles, but further commented that they do go on at three and older.

Eclipse Champion Smoke Glacken was a Leading General Sire and Juvenile Sire of 2010. He sired seven stakes winners and earners of more than over $4,000,000 last year, including Graded stakes winners on dirt (10 furlongs) and turf (7 furlongs).

He will stand the 2011 season at Gainesway for $10,000, payable when foal stands and nurses.
