Smoke Glacken's triple 2011 stakes winner Quantum Miss blasted to a 12- length win in the $77,000 Wonders Delight S. May 27 at Penn National, and in the process set a six furlong track record of 1:08.63 (

The gray 3-year-old filly made her 1-10 odds look generous as she flew out of the gate to go up a couple of lengths in a few strides. By the time she clicked off a half-mile in :44.29 seconds, she was up eight lengths with Jeremy Rose sitting motionless in the saddle. The final clocking earned her a career best Beyer Speed Figure of 104, the highest figure for any 3-year-old filly in 2011.
This marked her third straight stakes win; the streak began in the Grade 3 Cicada S. at Aqueduct in March, followed by a two-length score in the Trevose S. at Parx last month. Last November, Quantum Miss galloped home a 19 length winner in the Blue Mountain S. at Penn National. Her overall record now stands at 7-5-0-1, with earnings of $239,450.
Quantum Miss races in the colors of her breeder, Daniel Ryan, and is trained by Anthony Dutrow. The Pennsylvania bred filly is out of the stakes-placed mare Quanah County.
