Trained by Steve Asmussen, Western Smoke is likely to be pointed for a graded stakes race, possibly at Saratoga, for his next start. He is owned by J. Kirk Robison.

Smoke Glacken, a perennial leading sire of juveniles, stood the 2009 season for a fee of $17,500.
