One Smokin’ Lady, a 3-year-old filly by Smoke Glacken, captured her first career stakes victory when taking the $100,000 Inaugural S. on opening weekend, May 8th at Presque Isle Downs.

The gray filly stalked the pace inside before pushing through to take the lead and turning back stretch challenges to win by a neck on the line. The final time for the six-furlong event over the local synthetic surface was 1:10.36.

Trained by Robert Reid, One Smokin’ Lady has never finished out of the money in seven starts, winning three times with a runner-up performance and three thirds. She was third in the Cicada S. (G3) at Aqueduct back in March, and has earned $134,620 for owner CJZ Racing Stable.

Bred in Kentucky by Chadds Ford Stable, One Smokin’ Lady was a $160,000 Keeneland September yearling graduate purchased by Michael Hernon, in the name of Gainesway Bloodstock, for Afleet Alex principal Chuck Zacney.
