Lasso From El Paso's solid 2 3/4-length win in the Scottsdale H. March 17 at Turf Paradise marked her first added money win on the grass, and second of her career, for the 3-year-old daughter of Smoke Glacken.

Lasso From El Paso had an anxious moment after stumbling at the start of the one mile contest, but   the bay filly quickly recovered under Scott Stevens, rushed up to take command, and then drew off to a 2 3/4-length victory in 1:38.40 on the firm turf.

Trained by J. Jay Kruljac, Lasso From El Paso notched her third win in 10 outings, with earnings of $95.323. She was bred in Florida by Susan Kahn and is owned by Frank Lewkowitz and Karen and Eric Kruljac.
