Orientate Express captured his second stakes victory of the season on Oct. 11th, winning the $150,000 Remington Green S. at Remington Park.

The 4-year-old got up to post a neck win on the wire of the 1 1/16-mile race, stopping the clock in 1:44.50 on firm ground. The performance earned him a 90 Beyer Speed Figure.

Trained by Kelly Von Hemel, the bay improved his record to 5-4-1 from 15 starts. Earlier this year, he won the Omaha S., and now has career earnings of $215,905 for owner Prairie Lane Farms LLC.

Also on Sunday, Orientate enjoyed an emerging star at Santa Anita when his 3-year-old colt Viscount rallied to win an allowance race going away by 2 1/4 lengths.
