Grade 1-winning juvenile Laragh, from the first crop of champion sire Tapit, got back to the winner’s circle with a front-running win in the $115,000 Edgewood S. on the Kentucky Oaks undercard May 1 at Churchill Downs.

The speedy gray filly set the pace and was never seriously challenged in the 1 1/16-mile event, posting a 1 ¼-length win and stopping the clock in 1:43.88 over local turf course rated as good. She earned a 93 Beyer Speed Figure.

Trained by John Terranova, Laragh won for the fourth time from eight starts and moved her earnings to $581,877 for owners IEAH Stables, Gary Tolchin and Pegasus Holding Group Stables. Last December, she won the Hollywood Starlet (G1) in her final start at two.
