Selling Graded Stakes Winners

If you are looking to sell yearlings, weanlings, or mares, you want a consignor with a proven track record of selling stakes winners. For decades, Gainesway has been raising and prepping horses of the highest caliber. In 2010, only one other consignor, selling twice as many yearlings, has produced more Graded stakes winners than we have. Through the first 8 months of the year, Gainesway sales consignments have produced 41 stakes horses, 19 stakes winners, 10 Graded stakes winners, including two of the top five finishers in the Kentucky Derby-G1: Paddy O'Prado and Noble's Promise. From June 19 to August 29, Gainesway sales graduates won 12 major stakes, including: $1,000,000 Travers/$200,000 Pegasus (Afleet Express-G1); $400,000 Secretariat/$600,000 Virginia Derby/$500,000 Colonial Turf Cup (Paddy O'Prado-G1); $750,000 West VA Derby/$250,000 Iowa Derby (Concord Point-G2); $300,000 Nijinsky S. (Windward Islands-G2); $100,000 Chicago H.-G3 (Informed Decision, reigning Eclipse Champion). Our consignments have also produced three stakes-winning juveniles: Zaidan (in England), Sherriff Cogburn (in the U.S.) and A Brilliant Idea (U.S.). Other current Gainesway Sales graduates include NTR-setter Greenspring-G2, the brilliant filly Bickersons-G2, ultra-fast Graded winner Riley Tucker-G3, $300,000 Lone Star H.-G3 winner Redding Colliery and New York Graded stakes winner Touching Beauty, the latter two who were bred by Gainesway and partners.

In 2009, Gainesway sales produced nine Graded stakes winners, including Eclipse Award Champion Informed Decision-G1 and Eclipse Award Finalists Careless Jewel-G1 and Noble's Promise-G1. Other top runners of of the past four years include Lady Sprinter-G1, Showing Up-G1, Abraaj-G2, Buddy's Saint-G2, Fairbanks-G2, Jump On In-G2Nistle’s Crunch-G2, One Caroline-G2, Surf Cat-G2, Awful Smart-G3, Baghdaria-G3, Drilling for Oil-G3, Elusive Bluff-G3, Our Edge-G3, Quetsche-G3, Semaphore Man-G3, Silent Roar-G3, and Who's Up-G3. And going back just a few more years, additional graduates include Champion and Breeders' Cup-G1 winner Orientate, Champion and Kentucky Oaks-G1 winner Bird Town, triple G1 winner Birdstone, and Hopeful S.-G1 winner Sky Mesa. We never lose sight of the idea that every future foal, weanling or yearling is a potential stakes winner. Our reputation has been built on this foundation of success.
