Selling Graded Stakes Winners
If you are looking to sell yearlings, weanlings, or mares, you want a consignor with a proven track record of selling stakes winners. For decades, Gainesway has been raising and prepping horses of the highest caliber. Over the past three years, Gainesway sales have produced more than 50 individual stakes winners, including both Kentucky Derby and Kentucky Oaks contenders, as well as five Grade 1 Breeders' Cup contenders.
In 2012, Gainesway Sales produced 20 stakes winners, six Graded winners, three Grade 1 winners, led by international G1 winner Zaidan ($1,452,941), Eclipse Award Champion My Miss Aurelia (G1), and Grade 1 winner and Breeders' Cup Sprint contender Jimmy Creed (G1). Over the past 36 months, Gainesway consignments have produced 21 Graded stakes winners, including Jerry and Anne Moss's dual G1 winner Zazu (G1), Donegal Racing's millionaire Paddy O'Prado (G2), Starlight Racing's undefeated Thunder Moccasin (G2), Sam-Son's Windward Islands (G2), Jerry Durant's Macho Macho (G2), Arnold Zetcher's undefeated So Brilliant (G3), Robert LaPenta's S. S. Stone (G3), Chasing Dreams Racing's Noble's Promise (G3), Summerplace Farm's Heavenly Landing (G3), and Frank Calabrese's Where's Sterling (G3).
Other recent Gainesway consignments have yielded Champion Informed Decision-G1 and Eclipse Award Finalists Careless Jewel-G1 and Noble's Promise-G1. And going back just a few more years, additional graduates include Champion and Breeders' Cup-G1 winner Orientate, Champion and Kentucky Oaks-G1 winner Bird Town, triple G1 winner Birdstone, and Hopeful S.-G1 winner Sky Mesa. We never lose sight of the idea that every future foal, weanling or yearling is a potential stakes winner. Our reputation has been built on this foundation of success.
