Graham Beck  1929 - 2010

"He was a great businessman, competitor and horseman.
He lived life to the fullest and was a joy to be around,"
Keeneland president and CEO Nick Nicholson.
All of us at Gainesway would like to thank you for the outpouring of sympathy at the passing of Mr. Graham Beck. If anyone embodied the idea of living each day to its fullest, it was Mr. Beck. Few things are more precious than life itself, but Mr. Beck fully embraced the fact that the love of his family, and the obligation to make the most of each moment, were of the greatest importance.

We hope that Mrs. Rhona Beck, their son Antony and his wife Angela, and their children can take solace in knowing that every life he touched feels the same heartache at his loss, but will always remember Mr. Beck for the joy he gave us in sharing his dream at Gainesway.

Many of you have shared stories with us about how Mr. Beck touched your life in some way. It is our sincere hope that in some way each of us can pass along this zest for life, caring for our fellow man, and the pursuit of excellence that Mr. Beck bestowed upon us all.

We have the Beck family in our thoughts and prayers as they mourn the loss of Mr. Beck and hope you will do the same. He always prepared us to keep going with “business as usual” and we will strive to do so in his memory. Again thank you for your continued support.

Most sincerely,
The Staff of Gainesway
